Replacement 1 Player Control Deck for Arcade1Up With Trackball

This is perfect for my project. My only regret is I thought I ordered the plexiglass with and had not.

I needed a control panel for my new project, so I ordered a blank one of this design from DIY RETRO Arcade. I took a Golden Tee skin for it, and made it into a portable gaming rig. It works great.

Item is a perfect replacement for a wave 1 & 2 Arcade1UP mini cabinet. I am converting mine to a MAME cabinet and wanted to be able to play joystick, trackball, and spinner games. I bought a plexiglass overlay as well, and put black vinyl between the wood and plexi for a great finishing effect. DIY Retro Arcade proactively me status updates - order received, in CNC queue, being made, shipped - was a very nice touch and much appreciated.

Recently purchased this control panel with trackball for a Space Invaders Cabinet I was working on. Traded some very helpful emails with Shane about the panel and trackball setup a few times and then placed my order. The order shipped in a reasonable timeframe (it was around the holidays so I was expecting some delays).

Once I received the order I was extremely happy with the quality of the control panel and trackball mount, even the t-mold slot was cut perfect. All the holes were drilled precisely and everything fit like a factory item. The plexiglass cover was of the very same quality. I would highly recommend the quality workmanship they provide for any custom Arcade project you may have.
