2 inch USB Arcade Trackball White Ball Compatible With PC Mame Pi

Upon getting it, the ball rolled responsively (it didn't feel like it was heavy/dragging), but a bit rough. Upon hooking it up to my arcade setup, it worked, but not 100% reliably. It would get stuck going in some directions. Upon opening up the "ball lid" and removing the ball, I norticed there was a little debrid on the rollers (much like the greasy lint bits I'd find on other mice/trackballs in the past). I cleaned it off with some rubbing alcohol and the ball seems to roll smoother. Now trying to figure out what type of lubricant to use on the roller pins, to eliminate the remaining roughness. I don't think WD-40 is good for plastic. Is Petroleum jelly ok? Coconut oil? 3-in-1 oil? I'd use graphite powder, but I don't have any. The other complaint is that the switch wires (LMR) are super thin, short, and not terminated. So, that means I gotta figure out how to wire them up to my mechanisms. And where is ground (black) for those switch wires?
